Additional device not appearing in Google Home

  • I purchased two Shelly Plus 1PM devices a few months ago. I set up the first one at the time and got it successfully linked with Google Home. Yesterday, I set up the second unit and have it working in the Shelly app, but try as I might, I cannot get it to appear in the list of available devices on my Shelly account when I try to add it to Google Home.

    When I attempt to add the new device in Google Home and select the already linked Shelly Smart Home service, I am prompted to either relink the account or unlink it. I choose the former, naturally and proceed through the authentication process, but am always only presented with the original device.

    Any help appreciated!

  • Thanks to Shelly support, this proved to be just down to the device being in the Hidden Devices list. Moving it to another room allowed it to then appear in the device list in the Google Home app.
