Event on button release

    hi,

    with my shelly plus 1 mini I got a event on button release after a long press in detached mode. With my new shelly dimmer 2 I just get short or long press, but no button release event. Is there anything I could do about that? I'd like to use the second input to dim a smart light bulb connected via homeassistant.

    With the 1 mini it worked like a charm...

    With Dimmer2 set to "One button mode", the second input is set to detached automatically.

    If you connect a separate wall button to that input, you can use the "Button 2 switched on" and "Button 2 switched off" events to be able to control the smart light bulb.

    Use the "BUTTON 2 SWITCHED ON" event to send the dim-command to your smart bulb. Now the bulb will do the dimming as long as you keep the button pressed.

    Use the "BUTTON 2 SWITCHED OFF" event to stop the dimming.

    Hi dewaldo, thanks for your answer. I already had the one button mode set. But I just get click_type single or long. See attached screenshot from my homeassistant events.

    If I look at the list of triggers the plus 1 mini got, it's quite streit forward (sorry just got the screenshot in german):

    but for the dimmer 2 there is actually not even the long/short press trigger:

    Wenn das Event in HA an kommt dann verwende ihn doch einfach in einer Automation 😉
