I used to have a reed switch(open circuit / closed circuit) to monitor some stuff like gas consumption and then send notification.
The device detect when there is 1 cyclo of open/close circuit and send notification.
Is there any way to tell shelly when there is open/closed circuit with a reed switch or even a magnetic switch?

What should happen, if the circuit is closed or opend?
Gas counter, I have a reed switch, everytime circuit make a cylce, I coun 0.01m3,... Other utility is the magnetic switch (I know that there is a shelly door sensor that does this but to take adventage og the magnetic switches that I have.. ) for door or mailbox, open/close circuite, then send a Telegram message to my phone when Shelly detect mechanis has been open.
I think you can use a Shelly1 without a connected consumer.
For the message use a cloud-scene.
If the Reed-contacts you are using are certified for 110/230V, then you can connect it to the Shelly "SW" as any other switch as well.
If your contacts are only certified for voltages less then 60V you could supply/operate the Shelly with 12/24-60V (depends of the Shelly type) if you like.
