    I am trying to connect tot he Shelly 1 with my iphone.

    In the Wifi settings the iphone seems to be connecting to the Shelly wifi, but on the top right bar the wifi symbol doesn't come up. And if I try to type the shelly ip address it doesnt connect.

    I tried to reset both iphone and shelly. Also tried to connect the wifi with the data connectio off on the iphone.

    Any idea?

    Disable „mobile“ on your iPhone while connecting to the shelly-hotspot. That should help.
