Cannot connect to devices with the new App (BETA version 3.0.1029) over VPN

  • All of my shelly devices are set to work only locally paired with Homeassistant, no cloud.

    I now that the old app couldn't work over VPN, so I was eager to try the new app, with which it would be possible, but I couldn't get it to work over VPN.

    Are there any special settings which should be set, couldn't find any, or is it supposed to work out of the box?
