Custom script with standalone Shelly Uni?

Hello, new to Shelly and trying to understand if a Shelly Uni can do what I want. The short question is: Is it possible to run custom scripts (ex. mJs) on the Shelly Uni?

The slightly longer question is: I want to connect two temperature sensors to the Uni, and based on the temperatures I want to toggle a water valve between two positions.

I want this to be a standalone solution so I want no Home Assistant or other home automation server.

If custom scripts can't be run directly on the Uni, would it be possible to possible if I added eg. a Shelly Plus device and run the script on that device and only use the Uni for I/O?

So if I add any Shelly gen 2 (Plus/Pro) device to run my custom script, can that gen 2 device then read inputs ans set outputs on the Uni device?
