Dear Shelly Engineers,
currently there is a missing link between Shelly and Google-Home, i.e. Google-Home cannot react on e.g. a button-press event or a scene activation event. In all cases I need to "sacrifice" a real shelly relay, e.g. an unused UNI or 2.5-relay hidden somewhere to act as a bridge. Here are some examples:
1. Let google say "washing machine is ready": Washing machine connected to a PLUS-S with a scene that will monitor power consumption and trigger a "turn on device" action to an unused Shelly UNI, which in turn will activate a Google Action to output the voice notification.
2. Use detached Shelly 1L button to switch on/off LED strip: pressing a detached Shelly 1L button (behind a Shelly wall switch) will trigger a I/O action "toggle device" to an unused Shelly 2.5, which in turn will activate a Google Action to turn on/off the smart LED strip.
There are countless more examples of how google-home actions can be used to bridge different Smart-Home systems. BUT currently that requires in many cases some true Shelly devices that will act as a bridge.
Therefor I kindly would like to ask you to think about how that could be done in software, by e.g. exposing also scenes to Google-Home or by making detached buttons available as devices in Google-Home or by simply allow creating virtual relays in the Shelly app that can be used the same way as real ones.
PS. I also miss the "toggle" command to a relay in Shelly scenes - that is the reason I had to use a I/O-action instead in the second example. Is that by design or just missed?
