Hi,
I would like to connect 12v LED stair lamps controlled by Shelly 1(or 1 PLUS) and sensors that would give a signal to Shelly. at the top of the stairs I can have an ordinary PIR, but at the bottom, due to the location of the stairs near the place where you pass very often, it cannot be PIR because it gives to many false signals, so I thought it would be a reflective photoelectric sensor - time of flight. Such as XKC-001A found on AliExp - i don't want to copy link here - you can find it easly on google.
It would meet my expectations, I think... only now because I'm not quite familiar with how it can be connected with Shelly 1 I have a question what version of XKC should I buy? There are versions XKC-001A-TZ-12 and XKC-001A-NO. From this sensor outputs 3 wires +, - and a signal line, i.e. just like in a normal PIR sensor. As I understand it right, the signal from the XKC-001A and the upper PIR will be connected to the SW input in Shelly terminal and the receivers (LEDs) on one side to the - (minus) power supply and the other side to the Shelly terminals, e.g. the O terminal and + (plus) power supply to the I terminal in Shelly 1.
I know that the drawing is very demonstrative, but I am hoping that it will illustrate something.
So the questions are: do it matter what XKC version I buy and can I do it so that after steering by signal line from XKC after, for example, 30 seconds, Shelly cuts off the power to the LEDs and they go out? I mean can I make time cut off with that circuit?
Unless there is a better way to solve this...?
