I purchased Nine Shelly Plus 2PMs directly from Shelly. They installed and setup very easily. Can access each device by IP, by the Shelly App and by SmartThings.
At the same time I purchased Six Shelly Plus 1 PMs. Now this was a different story. When adding them to the Shelly App, they connected to my Wi-Fi network but initially didn’t appear in the app (but have now done so, some 48 hours later). However none of them will connect to the Shelly Cloud either via their web interface or the Shelly App.
Here is what I’ve tried to do (via the device’s web interface) to remedy but with no luck:
1. updated firmware to latest
2. set static up addresses for each one
3. set Google’s DNS as their default DNS
I can still access them all via web and app. Every one of the six devices still refuse to connect to the Shelly Cloud.
Any advice gratefully received.
