    Hello I have a problem with the Shelly app in that it takes a long time to connect to devices

    when the cloud connection is disabled, however when I enable the cloud connection devices are

    instantly connected and ready for ON/OFF commands.

    This is super weird since the path of cummonication is actually shorter operating only on LAN.

    Can someone test this since I might have configured something wrong at my end?

    You don't.

    The app isn't called "Shelly Cloud" for nothing. ;)

    Without a cloud, users drive better with third-party apps such as ShellyPilot (for Android). Unfortunately, I don't think there is one for IOS that also contains the current Shelly.

    For local use without cloud, you can check out the ShellyHome app if you're using IOS.
