    I am about to buy two Plug S to control lights on my bed but I am not comfortable to have devices at 30cm from my head with wireless signal ON all night long...

    Is there a way to shutdown wireless on the device every day from X to Y ? I know it is a strange ask as it would make the Plug S unavailable but the only reasonable way I can think to use them and I will not use them in the middle of night anyway so not a big deal for me.

    Synchronizing the time means you need to use the WiFi signal. I would not worry about the radio energy levels, your head would get much warmer from putting your head on or under your pillow.

    Shelly devices only transmit with a maximum transmit power of 1 mW according to their technical data sheet. Wifi 802.11g standard allows up to 100 mW, 5GHz depending on band and country up to 4 watts. That's why you usually get way better connection with a laptop or phone at the same location than with a shelly device. Your smartphone uses up to 2 W transmit power on the mobile network, depending on the frequency used. So I wouldn't be to much concerned about the Plug-S next to your bed.

    Thanks both for the answers! so as far as you their is no way to schedule a power down (the wireless signal) and power on ? I guess theses functions are just not exposed from API ?
