    hi. From US here. I've been trying to solve a problem with the Shelly 1 firmware update with no luck. Bought the device off of Amazon last year. Forgot about it until I moved. Decided to start a project but i am stuck at the firmware state. "Unsupported firmware version -1047. Please update your device. It has really old firmware on it. 20191217-140757/1047-long-id-for-shelly-. I don't have home assistant or tasamota. I've tried updating via the web UI, the app and even using an archive link and pasting it in my browser. No luck. About ready to give up. I wonder if xfinity routers have anything to do with it. Anyways I am out of luck. It is rather stupid thst the current app won't allow you to access the device settings unless you update the firmware. Anyways please help. I am very new to everything.

    Your router may have something to do with it. It is not (yet) on the list of incompatible routers.

    You can easily check whether it is connected to the router with a tablet or a second smartphone.

    Create an access point on it and connect the Shelly to it. If the update then runs, problem will be the router.

    Please give us feedback with the exact router type designation so that we can add it to the list if necessary.
