Hello,
I have a shutters switch with L, Up and Down (no N). I'm thinking about automating it with two 1Ls - one for Up and one for Down. Any thoughts and potential problems? And how should I wire them?

Hi and welcome to the forum.
It is not advisable to use 2 separate Shelly for this purpose, as the mutual locking of the directions of travel is then missing.
Thanks for the answer.
By mutual locking you mean the possibility to turn them on at the same time? I'm not so deep into the ecosystem yet, but I was hoping it's possible to programmatically shut the one down before the other starts.
You could probably program something like this with a higher-level system and without hardware switches.
But I myself would always prefer the intended Shelly2.5 actor. However, you need the N conductor at the installation site for this
Yeah, that's clear, but I don't have much of a choice. I would like to avoid breaking walls for now.
I'm willing to try it anyway
My first attempt was not so fun - I burned the one of the Shelly's. Wiring them one by one seems to work fine, but when I wired them together, not the one running, but the other burned. That's all without wiring a physical switch. I'm still contemplating on the possible reasons. Maybe I didn't wire them in the best way. Or the one that burned was still on. I'm not sure yet. Playing around.
I was just wondering if anyone have tried something like that.
