Hi
I am planning a cost effective way to control a gate at a holiday home. It is a rear gate used for the gardener. I am thinking of using one of the basic keypad and electric door strike kits off Amazon which are 12v. I can only change the code locally so if I wanted to disable access maybe I could kill the power to the gate controller which is fail secure. I also have a light at the gate that I want to control.
I am thinking that I could use a Shelly 4PM Pro to control the light and also the power to the gate controller. I could also add a Shelly 1 to be able to control the gate open remotely. I am not sure how this would wire together or whether this is a good cost effective way to do this. Can anyone advise...
Thanks
