Device is already owned by another user

Probably a device name conflict..

There's a hidden REST-API call which can solve that issue most of the time:

http://<vintage-ip>/longifyid

This is a factory reset with additionaly changing the name from the Vitage from shellyvintage-xxxxxx to shellyvintage-xxxxxxxxxxxx

Previously Shellys had only the last six characters from the mac address as part of their name. (which can cause naming conflicts) The API call /longifyid will change the name to the full mac address.

OMG i realy dont understand wy that this problem is still around

last week i bouth 22 plugs not a single 1 with the 12 digets

Now i got a new order in the mail a tatal of 60 items

the first item out off the box a Vintage light bulb and here we go again 6 digets... 6ED9AD (7264685)

BUT this time also already registed to other user.

Doing the same thing like with the plugs for longing the name results in nothing!!! keeps its name

firmware version reads ''The current Firmware version of your Shelly device is 20191216-140157/??? No newer firmware available.''

i can acces the shelly from http://192.168.68.53/ and controll the light on of it works

doing:

realy starting to douwt the 1350€ investment overall
