There is wifi, but no cloud

  • Hi guys, several days already

    - I see the device as OFFLINE on the my.shelly.cloud

    - device is connected to WiFi

    - I browse its web interface

    - if I turn off and then on - the cloud is there but for limited time

    - I tried the Disable Cloud option and then enabled it - did not help

    - I have lost data - one day appears empty on the chart

    - the device worked a year without a problem

    - the log says:

    Code
    149685655 cloud_aes.c:256 Connect to cloud: -8
    149690048 cloud_aes.c:425 Cloud connection 0x3fff29a4 closed
    149695332 cloud_aes.c:139 Reconnect after 15000
  • Hi,

please disable cloud via WEB-UI and reactivate cloud vai app.

    Good luck.

  • Thank you Stefan but I already did that and even said that above ;)

The first thing I did was to search through the forum.

The things get even weirder - already 4 days I have no data in the cloud BUT the cloud android app shows some current power consumption. Alas no historical data.

I rebooted the device many times.

the icons at the top of the screen (when I connect directly through http to the device) say "Trying to establish connection to cloud" and "Connected to WiFi network"

  • No, you did not, i think.

This seems not to be the same, i wrote:

    Done in this way?

  • Ah, I see now, no, it was not done this way, my mistake, may be this difference needs to be explicitly emphasized.

Nevertheless, I tried to do it now - disabled it through WebUI and when I tried to enable it through the mobile app - it waited some time and then it showed me a message with red footer stating that "This device has not reached the cloud yet! Please, ensure the device is powered and your WiFi network has Internet access!"

I did exactly that - the device is powered and connected to the WiFi, my network has Internet access. My phone also has Internet access.

I wonder how would it be possible to turn on the cloud of the device from the Cloud since it is turned off?
