Shelly 1 - Connecting to a 12v Light / Fan (Halloween inflatable decoration)

Hello All

I am planning on using a shelly 1 (already purchased) to control a Halloween inflatable - I have switched the shelly to run on 12V DC with no switch (literally the shelly is going to be used to turn on / off via home assistant)

I have the current wiring as follows

12vDC psu + to N(+)

12vDC psu - to L(-)

SW = empty

I = + on Halloween Inflatable

0 = - on halloween inflatable

I am able to log into the shelly, configure it for wifi - I hear the click of the relay when i turn the switch on but nothing happens

I have also tried the following configuration:

12vDC psu + to N(+)

12vDC psu - to L(-)

12vDC psu - to SW (Jumpered from L(-))

I = + on Halloween Inflatable

0 = - on halloween inflatable

again nothing happens

What am I missing here?
