1PM does'n connect to cloud

  • We are controlling the central heating in our community house with two Shelly 1PM.

    The first one controlles a valve, the second one is just for measuring temperature in the hall.

    Both have been in the Shelly cloud for some month now. Lately one of our fellows started a firmwareupdate of the 1PM in the hall. As he stated, since then the 1PM is not in the cloud anymore. I tried to fix this, with no success. The 1PM can’t connect to the cloud. I also factory-reset the 1PM (and added it to the app again). But still the 1PM can’t connect to the cloud. Both are within the same WiFi-Network and have IPs:

    The IP of the working one is: xx.xx.xx.250

    The IP of the not connecting one is: xx.xx.xx.251

    I can control the not-working-one by the app when I am in the same network with my mobile, but the 1PM does not connect to the cloud.

    Wath can I do to solve the problem?

  • static ip or DHCP? If static you need to configure gateway and DNS as well (both is probably your routers ip address).

    please also note:

    first time the device is connected to the cloud it is mandatory to use the smartphone app.. If you already enabled the cloud via webinterface:

    - disable cloud via local webinterface

    - enable cloud via Smartphone

    >100 Shellies, darunter so gut wie alles was der Hersteller produziert hat. ;)
