Can you elaborate on "fried"? Botched firmware update? Connected to AC when jumpered for DC?
Yes sure. Not the software part was fried, but the device itself. Electronically. Shortcircuit I guess. I made a model of a switch, plug, lamp and in between the Shelly 1L so I can set them up before putting in to their final place. Because I also flashed them with a Homekit compatible firmware. And then something happened when I put this model down on the ground and after removing the blue cover I saw it got black inside.
So this is what I mean with fried.
