Shelly Dimmer 2 Unable to Calibrate

    Hi,

    I have installed 3x Shelly dimmer 2’s, all with no neutral and using the Shelly bypass.

    2 of them work fine and are calibrated with trailing edge.

    1 of them, fails during calibration. I can turn the lights on/off but then the Shelly disables itself over around 40% brightness. I assume it’s overheating so turning off to protect itself.

    The one that is not working uses different bulbs.     Am I correct in that it’s the bulbs at fault?

    So I’ve tried changing bulbs to another type. The Shelly did actually calibrate. However a bulb then popped and I don’t have proper control over the other.

    Maybe this isn’t the bulbs I’m using and it’s the Shelly itself? Any ideas welcome

    You are right.

    Mixed operation does not work or does not work reliably. This has already been discussed in many German-language threads
