Constant Blinking Red LED

  • Static IP, battery 89%.. mainly using HA/Alexa for automations. AND I can access the WebUI no problem with the following issue:

    Once or twice a month, one of my 3 Shelly Motions doesn't respond and the red LED just blinks every 2 seconds or so, constant. What does a blinking red led mean? I reboot and it usually continues to just blink for a while... then it starts working again (initially, the reboot doesn't seem to help). I'm guessing that it probably means that it can't connect to the cloud, but can anyone confirm this? I have no other network issues in my home (@100 devices w/4 routers: mesh).

    I can't find anywhere what a constant red led blinking means.. thanks!

    Hi,

    i've disactivated the leds on my motions.

    But it's possible, the Motion freezes.

    My workaround is an automatic reboot every 10 days via NodeRed / ioBroker.

    Have you conncted cloud via app? If not, please deactivate cloud via UI and reactivate via app.

    Nice workaround, but 10 days seems a long time. I will try every 3 days. And yes, I will try disabling LED.

    Need the new firmware!!
